When it comes to highly unique RPG games, especially for the mobile markets, Azura Brothers Studio is already a well-known name. Their game Battle Soul Deck Building RPG has already been featured here a couple of years ago, while their BattleCross Deck Building RPG has over 100,000 downloads. However, the upcoming game from the same team, known as BattlePiano Deckbuilding RPG, promises an even more thrilling ride for all mobile RPG fans.
The center point of this game is the appreciation for the world of music and songs. From it, the Azura team created a nearly perfect blend of story-driven adventure and an RPG card-based game. The game’s narrative follows a boy in a music school, but in a world where everyone is broken into groups based on their musical talent and powers. As the player moves through the same domain, he encounters musical battles, where notes and songs compete against other players.
Visually, the game uses the anime graphics style to the maximum, offering a range of diverse characters, as well as an excellently designed UI. That UI/UX process allows for a smooth entry into the game’s world and from there, the players can get fully immersed into the musical realm of the BattlePiano. Check out a bit of the game’s tutorial and early version in my recent Let’s Play video of the same title:
