According to Polygon, Fans of LOTR have a brand new game to look forward to, and it is hitting the digital shelves this September 1st. The game in question is The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and it will appear on the PC platform and consoles just a few months from now. That ends a prolonged period of future players wondering when the title will be available, being that is has been in production since 2019.
The game is going to be a narrative action adventure with a strong stealth element to it. During the course of the story, the players will control Gollum aka Sméagol as he traverses the harsh and unforgiving landscape of the Misty Mountains and Barad-dûr going all the way to the realm of the Wood-elves set in Mirkwood. This promises a very interesting game for all those who love the universe of J.R.R.Tolkien books and steal gameplay.
