You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover or a channel by its cover image. But, when you check out the Far_no Twitch stream and its cover, I’m not sure how you can think anything else besides “awesome”! But, once you get into the stream a bit more, you’ll find out this is only the tip of a really cool and really awesome gaming iceberg.
The Far_no is a gaming collective of three gamers from New Zealand. I know that people often use the notions of community or collective on Twitch and end up just a single person in a room wishing for more people to be there, but in this case, it really is a community. Besides the core three members, the collective also has, as they put it “Cuzzies and Aunties” who join them.
When it comes to the content, they play a lot of Minecraft, but also eclectic titles like Metal Wolf Chaos XD, MediEvil, Final Fantasy III, 7 Days to Die, and DragonBall Xenoverse 2. Still, you can find Grand Theft Auto V, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Monster Hunter World streams as well. That’s, to say it plainly, a host of games that have next to nothing amongst each other and I find that brilliant. The Far_on collective is really into everything and anything - if you’re a gamer for life, you have to appreciate that!
The collective might be all about gaming fun in their streams, but they also did their groundwork for diversifying their online presence. You can find them on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and also on their Discord server. Lastly, besides Twitch, they also upload videos on their YouTube channel.
