Twitch Stream Showcase: Mekafutoku

The Mekafutoku Twitch stream belongs to a gamer who’s only 17 years old. Yet, in spite of this, both he and the channel have plenty of gaming experience under their belts. Mekafutoku began streaming in 2018, both on Twitch and on his YouTube gaming channel, but this year he decided to become more regular at it. Now, he follows a schedule and tries hard to stick to it. The same approach seems to be working, being that the channel already has almost 250 followers.

Currently, most of his Twitch content is about osu! This is a F2P rhythm game and he is really serious about it - his camera is rigged to follow his hands as he plays. This includes a keyboard and a tablet with a stylus, offering a very impressive rig for a so specific title. A really cool thing about Mekafutoku is a clearly present willingness to improve - you can see this trend is almost all streams and videos. But, besides osu! Mekafutoku is into a huge range of other titles. This is why you can find his content on Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (an excellent game, by the way), Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, Dead Cells, LoL, CS:GO, Hellblade, For Honor, Overwatch, Metro 2033, Super Smash Bros, and Fortnite.

Naturally, a Twitch presence means little if it is not about sharing with other people. Mekafutoku aims to create a fun and safe gaming community, including one on his Discord server. Here, people can come to watch some great gaming content, but more importantly, hang out and relax with others who share their interest. Having places like this is in my view crucial for the gaming community as a whole and it's great to see someone this young working on that.
