I’m betting there are many who wanted to see Alita: Battle Angel game in 2019, but I’m not sure how many of those would be happy to know that the new gaming rendition of the famous comic book would take place on mobile devices. The Alita: Battle Angel Android version that is due to appear on the market roughly at the same time as the blockbuster movie of the same name.
The game will be an MMORPG that will get across-platform mobile release where the players take on a range of roles in the cyberpunk city of… Iron City (the city of Iron City sounds like one of the dumbest things I ever wrote, but I’ll keep it). The game will cover PvP and PvE modes and include a feature called Motorball, which is kind of a roller derby from cyberpunk hell. Also, the game should cover a whole nine yards of RPG gaming, including gear merchants, XP and leveling and most of the things from the movie that has been produced by James Cameron.
I have to say as someone who read Gunnm, I’m glad to see both the movie coming out and the game gets released. However, the setup seems a bit too ambitious for a game that comes with a load of F2P elements, so I’m willing to bet that the quality is not exactly going to be stellar in the first days and the patches get to the frustrated players.
